"Your Thing" Is Disgusting (Ryu, Sagi, Open)

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

Type of Quest: Assault and Extermination
Quest Info: A village in Totomi near the border of the Tokugawa was always subjected to bandit raids. A wealthy landlord in the village is extracting protection money from the populace every month in order to protect them from the bandits, but it seemed that the soldiers of the landlord were pulling away once the bandits will strike, leaving the village to the bandits' mercy. After a close investigation of the matter, it seemed that the landlord had colluded with the bandit leader to extract money from the villagers, and they were seen to be plotting in the castle of the landlord away from the village every month, with their forces accompanying them. The matter had to be stopped before it spreads to the other lands.
Location: The castle of the village landlord in Totomi, near the border of the Tokugawa.

[Mōri Motonari]

The sun had just set and the crescent moon was low. The wealthy landlord and bandit chief with some of their top men were inside, drinking and being merry about being dicks and their plans of screwing over the poor village. There were plenty of hungry soldiers surrounding the castle, some of the lucky ones who had food munching away. While there was a lot of them "patrolling" on the grounds and walls, they didn't seem to be paying much attention.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

"This really disgusts me. Why on earth would they do such a thing."

Ryunosuke can't control his feelings on the matter as he muttered these words while going to the castle grounds. He had passed through the village where such an outrage started, and, seeing the poor condition of the villagers, made him both lonely and angry. Lonely for the villagers, angry about the people who made them suffer like this. This outrage must be stopped, since, as far as he knew, this is one of the largest villages in the whole Totomi, and if they really had amassed that amount of wealth, combined with the wealth of the landlord, they could spark a rebellion against the Amakusa, who the poor held with high regard and the landlords held with contempt, if not adversity.

After some time, he had reached the castle where the landlord stayed. Seeing the patrols even outside the castle, he hid himself under the bushes to prepare for something. Something that would inspire the poor to make them not fear the rich.

[Shinrai Sagi]

It did not take long at all for Sagi to hear about the men of this place who stole from the poor under the ruse of protection, and it would not be long before he showed up in Totomi. He respected the man who ruled this fief, as he had helped him many times throughout his youth, and for such activities to take place under his nose was an outrage. Sagi would make these people pay for their crimes against the people.

Unlike the man of Totomi who would act and who Sagi had no clue of, the Shiroyasha would make his presence known from the start. Donning his mask, he would use his earth staff to form earth armor around his body, while a ball of pure energy began to form in his hand. No words would be spoken, Sagi just aimed the energy at the castle gate and fired upon it.

If that didn't get their attention, he didn't know what would.

[Shinrai Sakkaku]

The Kuroyasha had arrived with his brother, also donned in a mask to hide his identity. Sakkaku believed that the bandits had no idea what was coming to them with their newfound power. And to that end, they would stop this assault on one of the only Daimyos whom they actually respected, for these crimes on his land were punishable by death.

Sakkaku would leap up at the walls, running up them to get onto the castle walls. If there were any sentries in his immediate area, he would swing his chain around at them, using the knife point at the end to slit throats and slice his opponents up, without creating any explosions. While Sagi created an outside distraction, Sakkaku planned to deal with the landlord.

(OOC: Boots allow unreasonable jumping, as well as walking on any solid surface.)

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

While Ryunosuke was hiding beneath the bushes saying incantations while holding a pendant, a man showed up and wreaked havoc on the gates of the castle. It had seemed that other people caught wind of what's happening in this land, and Ryunosuke was glad they also would not let this pass. After some more words, he had finished his incantation, and a demon chariot rode towards him from the void. He quickly jumped on the chariot, and controlled it to barge through the castle gate.

"Have no fear, Ryu's here!" he bellowed beneath his mask, his words aiming towards the villagers who were wronged by this hideous and atrocious monster of a landlord. He then aimed the howitzer at the castle gate, and would fire until the gate gives way. He would then proceed to kill the patrols that were outside the castle, who would dare attack him, and would barge through the castle and defeat all the soldiers within the castle.

Well, shit, son. Lots of crazy stuff happened all at once! If the bandits and landlord (and his men) weren't such douchebags, one might actually feel sorry for them.

The enemies were shocked as the entrance was attacked, and everyone was alerted, inside and out. Although that didn't particularly matter. The impact caused several men to fall from the wall onto the ground. While it didn't break the entrance, it caused sufficient damage, and Ryu's howitzer finished the job.

Good thing they teamed up, huh?

BOOM! BOOM! The poor entrance was blown to smithereens, buuut the men inside had had enough time to prepare guns and canons by the time Ryu ran into the castle in hopes to slay everybody. And they were aimed at the boy and anyone else at the entrance. Oh dear! Have fun with that, boys. Expect several booms and bams right about now.

Fortunately for Sakkaku, pretty much everybody was busy with the entrance and didn't even notice him crazy wall-walking/super jumping the wall. There were a few soldiers in the area, trying to gather supplies for the attack, but they didn't have a chance in hell against Sakkaku's speed, if they even noticed him, which most did not.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

((Waiting for Sagi's response, but it seems that the two were also waiting for my response, so setting up the post order: Ryunosuke, Sagi, Sakkaku. I hope we don't get confused next time.))

Ryunosuke seemed not very surprised at the sight of the cannons, since this was a heavily-funded group, and they were prepared for anything and everything that would barge in into their territory. But the number of cannons and guns prepared quite surprised him. They really meant to make disaster all around the land with their weapons, and when they are gone unpunished, it would mean danger and complete chaos. There should be something to stop these.

Ryunosuke would scan the area for some kegs of gunpowder near the gunners and the cannoneers, while urging the horses to turn around and retreat. When the horses had made a maneuver away from the gunners, Ryunosuke would fire on those kegs of gunpowder, exploding them and everything near the kegs, including their cannons and guns already loaded. If he did not find any keg of gunpowder, he would just fire on the cannons already loaded with gunpowder, to make the same results.

[Shinrai Sagi]

Sagi would walk into the castle after the charging Ryu, taking in what he could of his surroundings. Earth staff in hand, the castle would begin to shake at it's very foundation, threatening to give way at a moment's notice. Stalagmites would shoot up from the ground in the center of enemy groups, to quickly dispatch them, as well.

[Shinrai Sakkaku]

"As always, brother does not know how to contain himself..."

Sakkaku mused to himself as he took advantage of the enemy's surprise. He would swing his chain at each and every enemy he encountered, walking casually along the wall as if it were a tiny, menial task... which to him, it was.

Once the soldiers were dispatched, he would look amongst the survivors and at the walls with his mask, trying to pinpoint the leader of this rabble. If he could find the one in charge, he could bring a swift end to all of this... if not, he just had to kill more until there were no one left to oppose them in this place.

Because the weapons were already loaded, the men fired as soon as Ryu charged in with his chariot and they caught sight of him. A handful of bangs followed a little later by a boom resounded within the air. The cannon hit the horse and chariot, sufficiently killing it and causing the demon steed and chariot to poof. As this occurred, a bullet would pass through Ryu's shoulder. With the disappearance of his demon chariot, the injured Ryu would start falling to the ground.

With not everyone firing before and men still having loaded guns and cannons, this is the que to run. RUN, RYU, RUUUUN!

Sagi stood far enough back that he wasn't seen or hit. His attack was fantastically successful. The castle began to shake and this left the enemies unbalanced, struggling to stand on their two feet. His attack would take out the majority of men and two of the cannons, leaving two more and five gunmen near the sides. Three gunmen who survived the attack had fired already and were starting to reload, and all of them were trying to avoid the stalagmites, running to the sides. They were trying to discern who and where to attack. They would see Sagi near the entrance and two men who would fire at him, and one of the men at a cannon would scramble to light it, in hopes of hitting Sagi.

Sakkaku was safe. Everyone was busy with the attack below the wall. Because of his position, he would notice a couple of soldiers and bandits running in and out of a door. There seemed to be a commotion over there. Perhaps it was worth investigating?

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

"Shiiiiit... talking about surprises..."

Ryunosuke muttered as he fell down on the ground, feeling his shoulder being hit by a bullet as he struggled to stand up with just his legs. But he would not fall this quick, he knew it. He then pointed again the cannon towards the guards again, and it would be their mistake in letting him go on foot. The chariot was only meant as a surprise in which they foiled due to their resolve, but they would see a nightmare right now. Hell, he might be much fleeter in foot than when he was on the chariot.

But when he was about to make his maneuvers on foot, the ground shook from where he was standing. Not long, a large number of stalagmites burst from the ground the gunners were standing on, instantly taking off many of them, only 5 gunners and 2 cannons remaining from the vast army. Three of the gunners started to hide behind the stalagmites, while the other two saw the man who was assisting him and might be the one who did the incantations for those stalagmites a to burst forth, and fired upon him. He took notice of where the three gunners hid themselves, and the two gunners who opened fire at the sorcerer. One of the cannoneers also was to attempt firing towards the sorcerer, and he knew that he could attempt to stop the cannon before it fires. Another cannon was just lying within Ryunosuke's sight, and he also took note of where it was located. Since he had already took a mental note of where everything was placed, he would be ready to face them.

Ryunosuke would charge forward towards the cannon, firing his howitzer towards the direction of the cannon, hoping to bust it before it fires, while using the stalagmites as his cover to evade gunfire coming from the areas in which he had seen the three gunners hid themselves. When the cannon was busted, he would go towards the other cannon, to bust it before anyone could use it to hurt any of them. Afterwards, he would move towards the two gunners who opened fire against the sorcerer, and eliminate him either by firing the howitzer towards them or ramming it towards their stomachs when he had the range to do so. He would then hide behind a stalagmite to look if the three other gunners would appear themselves to fire at them.

[Shinrai Sagi]

Sagi would allow the bullets to shoot into his armor, and chuckled as they would ricochet off. Had the cannon fired, he would launch a blast of raw energy to dissolve the shot, and if the man before him took it out, he would redirect his fire.

Taking aim at the two gunners, Sagi would fire blasts of energy at their chests, looking to tear through and kill them. The men who began to run would find spikes shooting out from the stalagmites, aiming straight for their hearts!

Sagi would continue shaking the castle, only now he would blast a hole in the roof above himself. Using the wind staff, he would fly up through it, and he would begin searching for the land lord. His head needed to be claimed.

[Shinrai Sakkaku]

Sakkaku sighed at the continual castle shaking. It seemd Sagi was having a bit too much fun with his new power. As long as it didn't cause a cave in on Sakkaku, he was fine, at least. Noticing a door that seemed to be garnering a lot of attention, his curiosity was piqued. Unleashing his Mantle of Cinder's power, Sakkaku would begin to fly. He quickly flew skywards, heading into that direction before landing in front of the bandits.

"I wonder what we have here..."

His Mantle, made of the darkness itself, would fire projectiles of darkness at everything around him, as he casually strode into the door to see what awaited him.

The cannon had fired right before Ryu's shot caused it to explode, but Sagi's move worked wonders and the cannonball didn't even hit him. Ryu was able to ram one of the men (K.O.!), but the other dodged and, tossing aside his gun, charged Ryu with his drawn katana.

The shots would ricochet off of Sagi's armor, merely cracking it. But because the dice gods are cruel, his attacks missed the two gunners, and they were reloading to fire again. But stalagmites did cause damage, but not to the hearts. But one man's arse was quite uncomfortable though, and he groaned about Sagi the Impaler before croaking. One down. When the other two finished reloading, if they were not attacked before then, they would fire at a flying Sagi to avenge their butt-hurt friend.

Sakkaku arrived at the door with no hindrances, it seemed. But upon opening the door, a sound was made, a trap being triggered. Apparently, this castle is magical and cool and can sense enemies (or I just had to come up with something unlucky for a 1. >.>, because suddenly a big-ass log came flying at Sakkaku's face. Ouch.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

Ryunosuke stared as the sorcerer flew towards the upper portion of the castle, while not completely oblivious of the charging enemy, as he would parry the katana upwards with his howitzer, and then slash him sideways. "Not fair!" he pouted, and then moved towards the other gunners who was shooting at the flying sorcerer, and the large blade of the howitzer would swing in sideways towards the gunners, hoping to finish them both in one swing. He then would move in towards the castle.

[Shinrai Sagi]

Sagi would sigh, shooting off pieces off gravel at the men who fired at him, aiming to pierce their throats with little effort. His earth armor was strong, so he would not worry about it. Instead, he would charge the energy in his hand, holding it out in front of himself. Once he was on the upper floor, he would not worry about the gunners below him, and would continue searching for the land lord. Any threats he came upon would be blasted by his energy, straight through the chest.

[Shinrai Sakkaku]

Sakkaku's eyes widened as he saw the log coming at his face, but his mantle of darkness would quickly form in front of his head in order to catch the log. His feet would skid backwards in the ground from the impact, but his head would be relatively undamaged.

"Imbeciles..."

Using his mantle, he would quickly fling that log back to whoever was waiting inside of the door with enough force to tear what was holding the log from the ceiling. He would then waltz in firing dark projectiles from his mantle at whoever was still standing.

"ARGH!" The man who had charged Ryu was cut down, and since the gunners were too busy focusing on Sagi, they were sliced and diced, by both gravel and blade. There was a door on the ground level, but Ryu would find he would be unable to open it, as it was barricaded from the inside.

There would be no enemies for Sagi, as Sakkaku took care of them already, and if he went through the same door, the two brothers were be reunited. If not, there was another door further along that he could go through.

Somebody was splat by the log, leg twitching like a crushed insect. But Sakkaku would not find further enemies at this point, instead being a long hallway that stretched forward. Numerous door were across one another all down the hallway (anybody up for a Scooby Doo montage chase? =D), and at the very end, there was a right turn.

[Ichimura Ryunosuke]

Ryunosuke found a door which seemed to be the entrance of the castle, but as he pushed on the door, he found to his dismay that it was locked from the inside.

"Locking yourselves, eh? Let's see if the door's going to last."

He would then use his howitzer as a battering ram to force the door open so that he could move in. But if that didn't work, he would have to blast the door off its hinges so that he could continue apprehending the bandit leader and the landlord. But if he would manage to get inside, he would stay alert. There might be some sort of a trap inside.

[Shinrai Sagi]

Sagi would approach the other door, rather than meet back up with his brother. The gravel all along Sagi's body would form to create a single "drill" on his chest, and it would shoot forward, ripping through the door and any threats that would lay within. Not waiting for any possible enemies to take advantage of him, the castle would begin to shake even more fiercely. Whoever was inside, if anyone, would not be able to hold their footing. Sagi, meanwhile, would float from the ground and glide into the room, the air around him whipping about fiercely.
